Ben Cochrane
Ben Cochrane is one of NewHope’s Associate Pastors and joined the team in September 2021. He is married to Rebekah and they have two amazing children, Arielle and Levi. Ben is an absolute people-person and is passionate about seeing people discover Jesus and the ways they have been gifted and graced for life and ministry.
Ben has served in full time ministry for over 15 years and brings huge pastoral + teaching gifts to NewHope. He currently oversees our Kellyville & Norwest Communities.

Drew Meers
Drew Meers is one of our Associate Pastors at NewHope and joined the team in 2023. He is married to Virginia Meers and together they have served in Ministry for many years and bring so much experience. They both love people with their whole heart, and love to point people to the goodness of God. They have two beautiful children in Romeo, and Rose.
Drew currently oversees our Box Hill Community.
Associate Pastor - Box Hill
Gil Corr is the Next Generations Pastor at NewHope and is responsible for championing our kids, youth and young adults in their relationship with Jesus and pursuit of His call for their life. He works closely with our church communities Next Generations leaders.
Gil has 15+ years of ministry experience and has a heart for building the church and seeing the Kingdom at work in the lives of others. He is married to Jade Corr who also serves on staff as our Church Operations Leader. Together they have two children Ada and Gideon.

Church Operations Leader
Jade Corr is the Church Operations Leader at NewHope and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functioning and long-term health of the church. She oversees key operational areas and Safe Ministry, enabling ministry teams to serve effectively and sustainably. Jade brings experience in Christian organisational administration and has a passion for creating healthy structures that support people, vision, and mission. She has a passion for God and seeing the Kingdom of God at work. Jade is married to Gilbert Corr and together they have two children, Ada and Gideon.
Matthew Townsley has joined our team as the Kellyville Student Pastor. Him & his wife Celeste, along with their two children Audrey and Hudson, are a gift to our NewHope family.
Matt works along side Ben with coming alongside our NewHope Community in pastoral care and the running of a Sunday service. Both Matt & Celeste love the Lord with all their heart and are a great example of what it means to be all in for Jesus.

Student Pastor - Box Hill
Anthony Dowd (Dowdy) is the Student Pastor at our Box Hill community working closely with Pastor Drew. Married to his wife April, they have chosen a life that pursues God and loves His people, which has blessed them with time spent as missionaries in South Asia.
Anthony has a passion for evangelism and discipleship, outworking this through youth, young adults and outreach ministries with the hope for all to know Jesus!
Mia Wilson has joined our team as the Kellyville & Norwest Next Generations Coordinator. Mia attends NewHope with her family who are all a gift to our NewHope community.
Mia works along side Ben & Gil with championing the Next Generations community through running Kids Ministry on a Sunday and leading at our Youth Group on Friday Nights. Mia is engaged to Declan and they both have a heart for Jesus and the people of God.

Worship Director
Aaron Guilmette is the Worship Director at NewHope. He and his wife, Judith, are passionate about leading others into God’s presence through praise and worship. Together, they have over two decades of experience in leading worship and mentoring developing leaders. They serve with energy and excellence, focusing on creating a space and atmosphere where people can open their hearts to Jesus in a place of awe and praise. Aaron and Judith have two beautiful children, Melodie and Cadence.
