Our Story

newHope Church's mission is to see people of all generations and backgrounds exploring faith, experiencing community, encountering Jesus and expressing His love to the world.

newHope is a Baptist Church, started in 2009 with the initial goal of building groups and a gathering of people with a heart to bless the local communities of Kellyville and The Ponds and beyond. The church has steadily grown through Sunday Gatherings, small groups, engagement with the local community and other ministries such as newHope Kids, Youth and Hopscotch Playtime.

As a local church we have 5 core values and a sense of God-given vision of how these might shape our future as a church.

We are about connecting people to jesus.

We see people of all generations and backgrounds encountering Jesus in a life-transforming way. We hear inspiring faith stories being told as people discover joy, purpose and hope. We see people living generously as they express the love of Jesus to their world.

We are about church as community.

We see an ever-growing network of groups and gatherings where people experience life-giving community and develop lifelong friendships. We see people living out the adventure together as part of a healthy church family.

We are about God's Mission.

We see leaders called and raised to build new groups and gatherings that bless their local communities and beyond. We see a church working together to bring God's hope and wholeness wherever He sends us and however He enables us.

We are about championing the next generations.

We see the next generations living confidently and passionately for Jesus, dreaming big and restoring their world to Him. We see every generation serving and investing themselves into the next.

We are about a hunger and dependence upon god.

We trust the Holy Spirit as our constant lead and guide. We see Him carving ways and opening doors before us. We experience God's supernatural power as we pray, fast and give radically.
