God's Story

Forget for a moment what you've experienced or been told about religion and spirituality.

The story of Jesus has been the life-giver and game-changer for millions of people.

Jesus' life, teaching, death and resurrection is the story that makes our own stories begin to make sense. Nobody has ever made the claims He did and backed them up with moral perfection, miraculous power, personal sacrifice and most importantly victory over death itself.

We find ourselves all in the same boat, longing and wondering our way through life. CS Lewis put it this way when he wrote, "If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world."

Friend - you were made to be loved by God and respond by loving Him, the creator of this universe. No other person, pursuit, position, postcode or possession can satisfy the deepest longings and wonderings of our souls. God loves you and I so much that He became human over 2000 years ago - as the man we know as Jesus. He did this to make Himself known to us and to bridge the gap we as humanity had forged in our hostility and selfishness towards Him and one another.

In Jesus - we can see and know God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. Nobody comes to the Father (God) except through me." According to His very own words there were no alternate ways to knowing and experiencing God - only through Him.

So we're left with one of three choices...

  1. Dismiss the life and claims of Jesus, hoping or deciding that He is of no consequence;
  2. Investigate further and seek to discover if His life and claims stack up; or
  3. Become a follower of Jesus who seeks to know and trust Him more, having decided that He is who He claimed to be.

We want you to know that Jesus loves you and has amazing plans and purpose for your life. He only ever desires to build and bless your life, never to discourage or distress you. He is light and life. He is the Wonderful Counsellor, Everlasting Father, Mighty God and Prince of Peace.

Our greatest hope and prayer for you is that as you explore faith in Jesus, you will encounter Him in a life-giving and game-changing way. If you have more questions about Jesus or are ready to decide to follow Him, then click on one of the buttons below.
